Afterschool Program Manager- ALABS Lead Teacher

Position schedule will be based on the school's standard calendar. While some districts may offer opportunities outside of the regular school calendar, these are not guaranteed and opportunities will be limited.
The primary responsibility of the Afterschool Labs Lead Teacher is to oversee all program operations within the Afterschool Labs program. This role requires strong customer service skills as well as classroom experience. The Afterschool Program Manager is responsible for managing billings and attendance as well as daily afterschool activities.
Essential Functions
Oversight and quality assurance of daily program operations at your assigned school
Monitoring program safety while ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed
Communicating with parents about student health, behavioral, social and emotional needs
Ensuring that the Afterschool Labs curriculum is adapted to meet special needs as needed
Building relationships with school personnel, including administrators, teachers, office staff, nurses, and custodial workers
Coordinating facility availability and needs with school administrators
Managing student behavior and implementing school behavior management system
Providing coaching to Afterschool Labs teachers, as needed
Communicating with supervisors, parents, and school administrators proactively
Reading and responding promptly to email communications
Promoting school break and summer programs
Preparing for and delivering engaging lessons on a variety of topics
Ensuring that school spaces are kept clean and organized
Participating in medical assistant training and ensuring that all medical protocols are followed
Completing accident, injury and behavior reports, as necessary
Participating in professional development and monthly staff meetings
Assisting in the preparation of instructional materials
Exhibiting a cooperative working relationship with teachers
May be responsible for toileting assistance, personal grooming assistance, and/or heavy lifting
Maintain strict confidentiality concerning student records

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
